The “Tavush” operational unit of “Veolia Water” has independently renovated the 220 mm iron water pipeline running from the “Berd” Water Treatment Plant to the Norabnakner neighborhood. The pipeline, which passes through arable land, frequently experienced failures, and especially during the winter months, reaching it and carrying out repair work required a significant amount of time from the Veolia Team. This caused problems for the streets supplied from this pipeline, including Alikhanian, Sahyan, Saryan, David Anhaghty, Paruyr Sevak, Sasuntsi David, Charents, and Norabnakner streets.
The “Tavush” operational unit has replaced a 950-meter section of the pipeline with a new one, which is now being connected to the existing system. This work is the reason for the water shut-offs announced today in several streets of Berd city. If no complications arise during the process, the work is expected to be completed today.
