As part of its 2025 Mandatory Capital Works Program, Veolia Djur is once again operating in the Kotayk region—this time in the town of Hrazdan.
In the Banavan district, the water pipelines had become severely worn and damaged over the years, turning into a constant source of breakdowns and water losses. The elimination of numerous open and hidden leaks was not only time-consuming but also extremely challenging for the Veolia team, as the pipelines passed through private residential properties, where many illegal connections were discovered.

To address the situation, Veolia Djur included the district in its capital works program. By investing around 51.1 million AMD, the company is reconstructing a 1.1 km section of the water pipeline. The plan also includes relocating water metering units of 32 customers to the property boundary, ensuring accurate measurement and a significant reduction in water losses.
The works are currently in an active phase. Once completed, Veolia will continue its program in Tsaghkadzor, where another 400 meters of pipeline reconstruction is planned.
