Veolia Water presented a summary of its 2025 operational results

Presenting the 2025 activities of Veolia Water, CEO Marianna Shahinyan spoke about water production, continuity and quality of water supply, water losses, solar power plants, and the importance of their construction. The Company will not limit itself to the requirements set out in the Lease Agreement, but through investments will strive for the continuous improvement of its performance indicators. Ms. Shahinyan is confident that through close cooperation between the public and private sectors it will be possible to achieve indicators that will satisfy consumers.

In presenting the 2025 results, Ms. Shahinyan stressed that, 

  • Water production in 2025 amounted to 516.79 million cubic meters, decreasing by 4.35 million cubic meters compared to 2024.
  • The volume of water sold amounted to 178.13 million cubic meters, increasing by 8 million cubic meters compared to 2024.
  • As a result of year-on-year investments, increased billed volumes, and reduced technical losses, the volume of water saved in 2025 amounted to 12.3 million cubic meters.
  • In 2025, investments implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework amounted to AMD 5,094.00 million (excluding VAT).
    As a result of the overall capital program totaling AMD 25.5 billion, the increase in consumed and billed volumes compared to the 2017 baseline amounted to 61.23 million cubic meters.
  • Within the framework of operational directorates and the PPP, 144,385 meters of water pipelines and 10,081 meters of sewerage networks were constructed and rehabilitated.
  • A total of 78,808 water meters, 92 pressure-regulating valves, and 202 flow meters were installed.

Emphasizing the Company’s role and importance in the region, Pavel Khudoban highlighted that the foundation of this success is the experience and dedication of the Veolia Team.

Kamo Sargsyan, Member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission, also spoke about the positive dynamics observed in the system, highlighting in particular the Veolia Team’s faster response to incidents.

Summing up the event, Aramazd Ghalamkaryan, Chairman of the Water Committee, called on society to be more patient and to value what we have today, noting: ‘In a system we have inherited, there is certainly work to be done, but by working hand in hand we must achieve tangible results.
