“Veolia Water” has completed the reconstruction of a 1,430-meter section of the water pipeline running from the “Avznots” daily regulating reservoir to Mikaelyan Street in Gavar city. This pipeline supplies water to the majority of the city.The Gavar operational unit replaced the old, frequently failing pipeline with a new 250 mm diameter polyethylene pipe, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted water supply to the main part of the city. During the works, 24 illegal connections were discovered on the pipeline. By eliminating failures and blocking unauthorized connections, water loss of 7 liters per second has been prevented. The pipeline will now operate without interruptions, even during the summer months when water demand is high.
