Around 40 illegal and bypass water connections have been identified across various administrative districts of Yerevan. These are water pipelines that were dismantled and sealed during April by the Commercial Loss Management Department of Veolia Water. The fight against violations of water supply regulations by non-compliant consumers is an ongoing process, with intensified efforts during the summer months, when water consumption is at its peak. Illegal water use during this period negatively affects the stability of water supply. The company’s policy is clear: prevention of illegal activities, detection, and documentation of violations — all in the interest of ensuring uninterrupted water supply for all customers.
