Water and forests are among nature’s most important and interconnected systems. Trees play a vital role in preserving soil moisture, maintaining the natural water cycle, and ensuring the ecological balance of the environment. They help prevent soil erosion, reduce air pollution and dust, support biodiversity, and contribute to the protection of clean water resources. This philosophy is also at the core of the daily operations of Veolia. The company continuously takes care of the landscaping and maintenance of its service areas, including sanitary zones of water sources, daily regulating reservoirs, and pumping stations. Tree-planting activities carried out in these areas are ongoing in nature, reflecting a responsible attitude toward nature, water resources, and future generations. Following the “GreenUp” strategy adopted by Veolia Group, the Veolia Team joined another important environmental initiative — the “Creation of the Aznavour Memorial Forest” program implemented by My Forest Armenia. In the community of Jrashen, in the Lori region, our team participated in afforestation activities, taking another important step toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment. Each tree planted with care and positive energy is a valuable investment in the future and in the protection of the environment — a journey that will certainly continue.
