In response to the article published on Shamshyan.com titled "Tense Situation in Ararat Province: Over 5,000 Residents in Avshar Village Have Been Left Without Drinking Water for 3 Months Due to Veolia Djur – Residents Threaten to Take Drastic Measures," we would like to clarify the following:
Avshar village is a wholesale subscriber of Veolia Djur, and the Company does not have any time-based water supply obligations toward the village. The relationship between the village and the Company is regulated by a contract, the terms of which have been approved by the Public Services Regulatory Commission.
We inform you that the Company supplies water to the village via two routes: one providing 23 liters per second from 08:00 to 18:00, and the other providing 4.5 liters per second from 06:00 to 23:00. In total, the Company supplies 1,103 cubic meters of water to the village daily. We assure you that not a single day has passed when the village received less water than this amount.
We kindly ask the residents, as well as journalists, to direct any inquiries regarding issues within the internal network of Avshar village to the local municipality.
