Today, the central laboratory of Veolia Water welcomed the 8th-grade students of Yerevan’s School No. 61 named after King Argishti I as part of a project-based activity.Despite their very busy work schedule, the laboratory staff never refuse any school’s request. The Veolia Team believes that imparting accurate knowledge about water to future generations is just as important as ensuring safe and high-quality water supply every day.Laboratory head Naira Bilyan and her colleagues introduced the students to the long journey of water — from natural sources to consumers’ taps.
They demonstrated how, for quality control purposes, water undergoes meticulous chemical and microbiological testing every day. After closely observing each process and actively participating in the Q&A session, our guests left the laboratory with new knowledge and vivid impressions. For the Veolia Team, the rewarding feeling remained that they had once again passed on knowledge about the value of water, its preservation, and the importance of its cleanliness to a few more people.
