In the Syunik region, Veolia Djur is carrying out extensive works by reconstructing the Mukhurturyan–Ashotavan–Hatsavan water pipeline, which supplies water to a large part of the Sisian region. As part of the project, approximately 3,900 linear meters of water pipes are being reconstructed within the Sisian community.
This initiative is especially important for the villages of Ashotavan and Hatsavan, which will soon have a completely new water supply system. During the road construction works in the community, it was discovered that the existing pipelines run under trafficked areas and are not installed at the required depth, which could cause problems in the future. Therefore, Veolia Djur, in collaboration with the contracting company, has decided to completely replace and modernize the local water pipelines, ensuring stable, high-quality, and uninterrupted water supply for the residents of the Sisian region.
