The distribution network in the Shgharshik district of Kapan has been completely reconstructed. Last year, the “Kapan” operational branch of Veolia Water began, using its own resources, the renovation of the district’s pipelines, which had been built in the 1970s and were in a deplorable condition. Prior to this, breakdowns were frequent, and water losses, complaints, and dissatisfaction were high.
Now, the situation is completely different. After reconstructing 3 km of pipelines, the Veolia Team reduced the water flow supplied to the district from 10 liters per second to 1 liter per second. In other words, by supplying 1 liter of water per second, the company is now able to provide 50 subscribers with continuous and high-quality 24-hour water supply.
