In the Aknalich community of Armavir Province, "Veolia Djur" company is reconstructing a 2 km water pipeline using its own resources.
From the Aknalich pumping station to the water pressure tower area, as well as on Mashtots Street, the "Armavir" operational unit is replacing the steel pipelines built 23 years ago, which have completely deteriorated and corroded. The frequent recurring breakdowns—mainly hidden and underground due to soil conditions—require the involvement of Zoning specialists to detect them.
Now, the Veolia Team is constructing a new polyethylene pipeline in Aknalich for 29 subscribers. This will allow for better management of the distribution network, reduce operational costs, and save up to 2 liters of water per second.
The work is expected to be completed in about 15 days, after which the "Armavir" unit will move on to the next location—the village of Myasnikyan.
