Sasunik is a village in the Aragatsotn region. Last year, Veolia Water invested 195 million AMD to completely reconstruct the village’s water supply network—12 km of pipelines in total, serving 490 subscribers.
The company’s mandatory capital works under the program have already been completed, and the results are unprecedented: instead of the previous 45 liters per second, the village now receives 5 liters per second, which is more than enough to fully meet consumers’ needs, even beyond the existing water supply schedule.
Alongside daily emergency repairs, Veolia Water carries out large-scale water infrastructure projects that provide not temporary solutions, but sustainable and reliable systems for the future. Today in Sasunik, Veolia Water has created exactly such a sustainable and reliable system. The proof of its success is the satisfaction and gratitude of the residents, who now enjoy high-pressure water flowing as soon as they open their taps.
