At the Public Services Regulatory Commission, under the chairmanship of President Mesrop Mesropyan, a working meeting was held today with the participation of representatives of “Veolia Water” CJSC. The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Water Committee, Aramazd Ghalamkaryan. During the meeting, issues arising in the operation of water supply and wastewater systems were discussed, as well as matters related to their regulation and the improvement of service quality. The discussion addressed water supply interruptions, fluctuations in water pressure, wastewater leakages, and water quality control processes. The Commission emphasized the importance of presenting substantiated information on the causes of the identified issues, the measures being implemented to address them, the responsible units, and the respective timelines. “Veolia Water” CJSC was proposed to submit information on the progress of mapping water supply and wastewater systems, a program of measures aimed at reducing water losses, as well as proposals for improving emergency response and public awareness processes. Within the scope of its powers, the Commission will continue to monitor the activities carried out in the sector and ensure the quality of service provision.
