The Charentsavan operational unit of “Veolia Djur” has independently completed the modernization of the water supply system in Zoravan village. The pipeline running behind the Gyumush HPP had served the village for many years, but over time certain sections had become emergency-prone and posed a serious problem for the community. Frequent breakdowns and pipeline deterioration disrupted the normal course of water supply. Residents were regularly facing water supply issues, while water losses continued to increase. To address the problem, the Veolia team carried out large-scale works.

A 500-meter section of the steel pipeline was replaced with a new 150 mm diameter steel pipeline. The old, deteriorated section was completely decommissioned, while the new pipeline was disinfected and put into operation. As a result, the residents of Zoravan village will have access to reliable and high-quality water supply. The newly constructed pipeline will not only reduce the likelihood of breakdowns but also significantly decrease water losses, ensuring more efficient water management.
