For many years, the residents of apartment buildings located on H. Arzumanyan 4th Street, Yeritasardutyan 3rd Street, and the surrounding areas in Vardenis faced the same problem: frequent blockages and leaks caused by the old sewer system, which created inconveniences and unsanitary conditions. The 350 mm ceramic pipeline, built back in the 1970s, had completely worn out and could no longer ensure the proper functioning of the system.
Today, the issue is receiving its final solution. With its own resources, the Vardenis operational unit of Veolia Djur has launched reconstruction works on the sewer line. A new 90-meter-long, 400 mm modern pipeline is being built, which will be connected to the existing collector.
The new sewer system will provide residents of the area with reliable and uninterrupted service, completely eliminating the recurring accidents and blockages of the past. To ensure the long-term and smooth operation of the system, residents are once again urged to remain attentive and to use the new sewer line strictly for its intended purpose.
