
Today, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan, accompanied by Deputy Minister Vardan Kostanyan, Chairman of the Water Committee Karen Sedrakyan, General Director of “Veolia Djur” CJSC Marianna Shahinyan, as well as governors and community leaders, visited the Kotayk, Aragatsotn, and Armavir regions to observe the company’s ongoing works aimed at reconstructing the deteriorated water supply network and conserving water resources. The first stop was the community of Kasakh, where plans include reconstructing approximately 18.4 km of main water pipeline, installing new metering units for 900 individual residential houses, and constructing about 4.5 km of inlet pipelines. The project is expected to save 30 liters of water per second. The next stop was Proshyan, where works include reconstructing around 20.6 km of main water pipeline, installing new metering units for 1,200 individual residential houses, and building about 7.2 km of inlet pipelines. This project is expected to save 40 liters of water per second and ensure regular water supply to residents. Similar works are being carried out in the village of Sasunik, Ashtarak community, where approximately 7.9 km of main water pipeline will be reconstructed, 500 new metering units for individual houses will be installed, and about 3.5 km of inlet pipelines will be built. The delegation also visited the village of Aragats in the Khoi community of Armavir region, where the distribution network is being completely reconstructed. Plans include rebuilding around 12.8 km of main water pipeline, installing new metering units for 700 individual houses, and constructing about 4.2 km of inlet pipelines. At all construction sites, the Minister instructed that the works be carried out according to the set schedule and with high quality, and stressed the importance of promptly asphalting the road sections damaged during the installation of water pipelines.
