March 22 is observed as World Water Day. This year, events around the globe are being held under the theme “Save Our Glaciers.” According to the United Nations, glaciers are melting faster than ever before. Their retreat can cause severe destruction, while their preservation is one of the key strategies for human survival.
We are aware that there are still issues in Armenia's water supply system that cause inconvenience to our consumers in daily life and beyond. Our team is constantly working toward fundamental solutions and the improvement of the water supply system. We are investing in modern technologies, carrying out preventive maintenance, and continuously monitoring water quality to ensure a clean, safe, and uninterrupted water supply.
On this path, consumer cooperation is also vital—responsible water use matters. Illegal water use, water theft, and using drinking water for irrigation purposes can seriously harm all consumers. Using drinking water for irrigation reduces water reserves, which can lead to water shortages and a decline in water quality.
Taking all of this into consideration, we once again remind everyone that water is a limited resource worldwide, and its preservation is a shared responsibility.evant issues.
