The top (7th) floors of the buildings at Shirvanzade 2, 4, 4/1, 4/2, 6, Mamikonyants 1/1, 3, and Azatutyan 17, 19, 19/1 in the Arabkir district now receive regular water supply without the use of pumps. These addresses have experienced low water pressure for many years, with the highest number of complaints coming from these buildings, especially in summer. Recently, Veolia Water replaced approximately 700 meters of water pipes inherited from the Soviet era. After updating the pipelines and removing illegal connections, the water flow to the buildings has increased from the previous 13 liters per second to 3.5–4 liters per second. Following the replacement, Veolia Water ensured a pressure of 3.8 atmospheres at the inlets, which is sufficient for 8-story buildings. With the main works now completed, the contractor is asphalt-paving the courtyards of the mentioned buildings.
