This is the “legacy” that the company has operated and maintained in working condition for years. These corroded, decayed, and rusted metal pipes have long served as the foundation of Arinj’s water supply. Every time even a slight fluctuation in network pressure caused yet another accident resulting in water leaking into the streets, the blame was immediately directed at Veolia Djur. However, the reality is that it is impossible to provide a water supply meeting European standards through pipelines deteriorated to such an extent. The large-scale reconstruction of Arinj’s water supply network is not a routine repair, but a complete overhaul of the system.
