“Veolia Djur” company and the Water Committee will make an investment of around 11 billion AMD
On July 16 of this year, amendments and additions were made to the Lease Agreement between “Veolia Djur” CJSC and the Water Committee, aimed at expanding the obligations related to capital investments.
According to the agreement, approximately 11 billion AMD will be invested in 2025–2026 to improve the water supply and wastewater systems. The investments will be carried out jointly—through the Lessor’s annual lease payments defined by the agreement and the Lessee’s mandatory capital works program—ensuring partial renovation of the internal networks in Yerevan and adjacent communities. As a result of reduced overall water losses, an additional 270 liters per second will be added to the water supply network.
In light of the decreasing water sources in recent years, these investments will help to compensate for the shortage of water in the supply system. The projects will be implemented during 2025–2026.
