An Important Technical Upgrade to Improve Water Supply Reliability. The “North” and “Yerevan” operational directorates of Veolia Water jointly carried out an important technical upgrade on the 700 mm Makravan–Abovyan trunk water pipeline. As part of the works, a 600 mm valve was removed and replaced with a 700 mm steel pipe.This improvement enables a greater volume of water to be conveyed through the pipeline, ensuring a more regular and reliable water supply to the communities served by it. The upgrade is particularly important during the summer months, when water demand increases significantly.As a result, the pipeline’s capacity has been enhanced, contributing to improved service quality and greater reliability of water supply for customers.
