In the village of Gandzak, Gegharkunik Province, the Gavar operational unit of “Veolia Djur” will soon complete the reconstruction of 2,150 linear meters of water pipeline along Anasanpahner, Aghayan, and Sundukyan streets.
For the second year in a row, the company has been carrying out large-scale construction work in the village using its own resources. Last year, by building 1,100 meters of pipeline along Sakharov and Babajanyan streets, the water supply, which was previously available for only a few hours, was upgraded to a 24/7 supply.
Now it's the turn of Anasanpahner, Aghayan, and Sundukyan streets to receive round-the-clock water service.
Replacing the old and deteriorated pipelines that ran through private land plots, the VeoliaTeam is installing new polyethylene pipes that will supply water to 30 customers and help prevent a water loss of 4 liters per second.
The work is expected to be completed within 5 days.
