With the arrival of summer, the number of illegal water connections has once again increased, prompting Veolia Water to intensify its efforts to combat this harmful practice. In recent days, several illegal and unauthorized water connections have been discovered in the Banavan district of the Garni community. All identified connections have been dismantled, and the relevant official reports have been prepared.Such violations, however, have consequences not only for the immediate area but also for neighboring communities. In particular, they cause water supply disruptions in several settlements of the Ararat region, which receive drinking water through the distribution system passing through the Banavan district.
This means that part of the water intended for residents is illegally consumed or lost before reaching its destination, negatively affecting the performance of the entire water supply system.Veolia Water will continue its monitoring and enforcement activities to prevent such violations. However, lasting results also depend on a change in public attitude. Without the cooperation and responsibility of citizens, it will be impossible to eliminate this practice and ensure the reliable and uninterrupted operation of the water supply system.
