The Chairman of the Water Committee, Aramazd Ghalamkaryan, held another working meeting with Marianna Shahinyan, Chief Executive Officer of “Veolia Water” CJSC. The parties discussed in detail the importance of improving the quality of water supply, protecting consumer interests, and ensuring rapid response to emergency situations.The meeting also addressed the joint capital investment programs for 2024, 2025, and 2026, within the framework of which the need for close cooperation among “Veolia Water” CJSC, the Yerevan Municipality, and other local self-government bodies was emphasized. Marianna Shahinyan presented the ongoing and planned activities, including the technical modernization of water supply and wastewater systems and the introduction of new technologies.The Chairman of the Water Committee and the CEO of “Veolia Water” CJSC also discussed the issue of ensuring uninterrupted water supply for the population of Yerevan, which can be addressed through the identification of new water sources and the construction of new water conveyance pipelines. Aramazd Ghalamkaryan noted that the Government is committed to this issue and is ready to make the necessary investments.
