Today, we welcomed the 9th-grade students from Geghanist Secondary School of Ararat Province to the Central Drinking Water Laboratory. The visit was organized as part of a project on the topic “Water Purification and Disinfection.” Laboratory Head Naira Bilyan and her entire team warmly presented the complete water treatment and quality control process—from natural sources to household taps.
During the visit, the students toured the chemical department, where they learned about the water sampling process and how water hardness is determined. They then visited the microbiological department, where, with the help of specialized equipment, they observed how water samples are analyzed to ensure microbiological safety. After following all the processes with great interest, the students left our laboratory with new knowledge, a renewed appreciation for the importance of water, and, of course, some gifts.
