These are the water pipelines in Arinj, Kotayk Province. As part of the 2026 Mandatory Capital Works Programme, Veolia Water is replacing the cast-iron and steel pipelines originally constructed in the 1940s and 1950s.The severe deterioration and poor condition of these pipelines inevitably affect the reliability of the water supply and contribute to water losses. When discussing water supply issues, interruptions or water losses, it is also important to consider the condition in which these infrastructures were handed over to the Company, as well as the work being carried out to address these longstanding issues. The works underway in Arinj aim to replace these ageing water pipelines and improve the overall condition and reliability of the water supply system.
