In Tairov settlement of the enlarged Parakar community in Armavir Province, “Veolia Water” company, in cooperation with the community, is reconstructing old and deteriorated water supply pipelines on Leo and Khachatryan streets. Previously, these pipelines passed through privately owned areas, making their maintenance nearly impossible. In case of accidents, it was not feasible to access the damaged sections, while illegal connections significantly disrupted the regular water supply. As a result, water losses, frequent breakdowns, and low pressure had become constant issues in Tairov.

Now, the pipelines are being relocated out of those areas and replaced with new pipes of 160–200 mm diameter. In total, a 1,300-meter-long new polyethylene pipeline is being reconstructed for 58 subscribers. Although the works are not yet fully completed, tangible results are already visible: prevention of water loss amounting to 10 liters per second, as well as an increase in system pressure by 0.5 atmospheres. The project is expected to be completed in approximately 20 days.
