The 'Armavir' operational section of Veolia Jur is reconstructing water pipelines in the 4th district of Metsamor using its own resources. The old pipelines passed under stone fences, structures, and trees, which meant that detecting and fixing hidden leaks in particular required a long time. The old and deteriorated water lines across 5 streets in the district are being replaced with 25-110 mm polyethylene pipelines. In total, 1,540 linear meters of water piping are being replaced for 80 subscribers. The work, carried out under challenging ground and rocky terrain conditions, is scheduled for completion in about 20 days.
Although the company makes necessary investments within the framework of its obligations under the Lease Agreement in the communities it serves, conscientious and timely payment of water utility bills is also crucial to ensure their continuity. The collected payments make it possible to invest in other communities as well, aiming to resolve existing issues in various sections of the water supply system and improve service quality.
