Veolia Djur has launched the 2025 Mandatory Capital Works Program (MCWP). The works have commenced in the Lori region.
In the town of Spitak, under MCWP 2025, the water supply networks of Khnkoyan and Shahumyan streets and adjacent alleys are being reconstructed. The company has invested 36 million AMD for this project.

The network, inherited from the 1990s, was in such a deteriorated and emergency state that it was no longer operable. The situation was further complicated when pipeline failures occurred within the premises of private households. Now, the plan includes the reconstruction of 1,450 linear meters of water pipelines along the streets and adjacent alleys, serving 130 subscribers.
Half of the work started in Spitak has already been completed. Once this phase is finished, the construction equipment will be moved to Shahumyan Street and nearby alleys. Upon completion, the company anticipates a reduction in operational costs, improved distribution network management, elimination of water losses and illegal connections, which will ultimately help prevent water loss.
