March 22 is celebrated as World Water Day. This year, events dedicated to the day are held around the world under the slogan “Save Our Glaciers.” According to the United Nations, glaciers are melting faster than ever, and their shifts can lead to disasters, while preserving them is one of humanity’s key survival strategies.
We are aware that there are still issues in the water supply sector in Armenia, which cause inconveniences for our consumers in both daily life and other areas. Our team continuously works on fundamental solutions and improvements to the water supply system. We are investing in modern technologies, carrying out preventive maintenance, and constantly monitoring water quality to ensure a clean, safe, and uninterrupted supply of water.
On this path, consumer support is also essential—using water wisely and responsibly. Illegal water use, water theft, and using drinking water for irrigation can seriously harm all consumers. Using drinking water for irrigation reduces water reserves, which can lead to water scarcity and deterioration in quality.
Considering all this, we would like to once again remind everyone that water is a limited resource around the world, and its preservation is a shared responsibility.
