With the participation of Veolia Djur CJSC General Director Christian Le Fèvre, Member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia Mushegh Koshetsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Water Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hovhannes Harutyunyan, and other officials, the official opening of the company’s “East Regional Center” took place in Vayk. The administrative building of the former “ArmWaterCanal” Vayk branch, after renovation, not only has a new appearance but also a new purpose. From now on, under one roof, Veolia Djur’s regional services for both operations and commercial activities, as well as the water quality laboratory, will operate here. Why is it called the “East” Regional Center? Because it serves a regional purpose. Veolia Djur’s policy is aimed at eliminating the disparities between Yerevan and the regions. From now on, the company will pay increasing attention to the development of the provinces. Consumers, regardless of where they live, have the same basic needs. Therefore, they have the right to expect equal attention to their issues. Vayk, located in the center of Veolia Djur’s so-called “Eastern” service zone—which stretches from Dilijan to Meghri and includes Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik—effectively serves as a connecting hub for all these areas. From here, it is faster to reach all settlements and resolve issues. It is with this logic that a common warehouse has been established in Vayots Dzor for the entire region, equipped with all the necessary material and technical resources and a special machinery division. Veolia Djur is confident that over time, the Center will continue to develop and evolve. However, what will remain unchanged is the Company’s desire and commitment to fulfill its obligations, justify the expectations associated with the company, and ensure the required water supply for its consumers.
