Recently, four breakdowns were recorded on the 529 mm metallic water main leading from the 'Araratyan 1/2' pumping station supplying Masis city to the Kharberd Daily Regulation Reservoir (DRR), causing a water loss of around 60 liters per second. Accidents have also been registered in different sections of the same pipeline in previous months, which similarly necessitated water outages in order to isolate the affected section and carry out work safely and properly.
