Three groups of pumps at the Garni pumping station—each with a backup—have been replaced with modern, state-of-the-art pumps that comply with European standards and are both self- and remotely controlled.The high- and low-voltage panels have also been upgraded, meaning the entire power system of the pumping station has been modernized.

Following this technical upgrade, it will be possible to transfer a larger volume of water from the source. The operation of the pumping station has now become easier, more reliable, and more efficient.
